These projects encompass a wide variety of facility types, as well as an expertise gained through the design of 20 Science Lab and Learning Environment projects with their specialized requirements for casework, ventilation systems and built-in equipment.

W+CO’s knowledge of traditional architectural forms is combined with insightful sensitivity to each building’s historic integrity and aesthetics, as the facilities are upgraded to be code compliant, functional and supportive of contemporary uses.

W+CO has worked extensively abroad in Ireland, Italy, United Arab Emirates and Ukraine to successfully design a variety of mixed-use, residential, recreational and educational facilities that enhance their unique, local communities and campuses. While earning a master’s degree from the Scuola di Architettura, Tony Weber’s two-year experience in Florence offered a wealth of opportunities for travel, research, teaching and professional practice in Europe, including collaborating with Florentine architect Marco Mattei and yacht designer Tommaso Spadolini.

With more than 50 fitness and athletic projects to its credit, W+CO has the experience to design state-of-the-art recreational facilities that attract and retain customers, club members or student athletes. Leading architectural efforts for LA Fitness’ East Coast Expansion for 12 years, Tony Weber managed the design of 47 facilities representing over 2 million square feet and $150 million in construction costs. W+CO’s recreational experience extends to indoor and outdoor facilities for universities, communities and private clubs, with a unique specialization in boathouse rowing clubs.
