university of pennsylvania; math reading room

academic

This project encompassed extensive interior renovations of 700 square feet of existing space to create a new Mathematics Department Reading Room and Library in the David Rittenhouse Laboratory building at the University of Pennsylvania. The new Reading Room and Special Collections Library of rare and specialized publications is reserved for faculty and graduate students. The high level of interior finishes, natural cherry wood, stone tiles, and leaded-glass window sash finishes are reflective of Penn’s Ivy League academic status. Construction costs for this project were $250,000.
