W+CO designed new administrative offices for the Hospice of Hope in Maysville, KY. Hospice of Hope is a nonprofit, community-based organization serving terminally ill children, adults and their families throughout Northern Kentucky and Southern Ohio. This 25,000-square-foot office building is a contemporary structure with classical style that commands a hill near on a campus with other hospice and healthcare facilities. The new building is a single story in the front and two stories on the back side that slopes down the hill. Administrative areas are located around an open courtyard to bring the outdoors into offices, meeting rooms, consulting and clinical areas. The administrative offices give health professionals and families of patients a comforting and comfortable place to plan for the needs of patients at what is a difficult time in the lives of all involved.
